You must first set up your mobile device (i.e. laptop, smart phones, or tablets) to connect to the “winthropsecure” wireless network. Instructions for doing so are found in the Student Technology Handbook. Anyone with a valid Winthrop computer account should use the “winthropsecure” network. If you are a guest and not currently affiliated with the university, you can use the wireless network called “winthropGuest”. The "winthropGuest" connection lasts for an hour at a time -- if you need connection longer than an hour, you will need to re-connect to the network.
